Losing one of our own is painful.  Fallen members of VMFP are missed and remembered here.

Jack Krueger former VMFP President and long-time passed away November 23 2023.
Jack served in the United States Navy. He was the National President of V.M.F.P Veterans Service Organization until the day he was unable to do so this past year. Jack was also very involved in his union, The American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He was a passionate politician, served on many committees, and was a National Delegate for the Democratic Party. Bill Dooling 1943-2020
Bill was a part of the beginnings of VMFP and served as Executive Vice President, Administrative Vice President, Chairperson of Government Affairs Committee, and as a board member and member of most other committees throughout the organization. Ned Jaros 1945-2016
A nonconformist, Ned’s career pursuits included real estate, urban planning, teaching, modeling and veterans advocacy. He worked for Senator Edward Kennedy, the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans and on the Board of Veterans and Military Families for Progress (VMFP), where he helped passveterans legislation and elect veterans to Congress.Read more

Charlie Weinert 1929-2006
Charlie served on the board of VMFP for many years and was the committee chair for Operations and Projects, sheparding the process of creating VMFP’s two white papers, on  Policy and Bond proposals.
